As opposed to Lip Blushing which is more subtle, this treatment is chosen by women who seek a higher color saturation and coverage. The entire surface of the lips is filled creating the effect of applied lipstick. Just like any other cosmetic tattoo it is completely waterproof, eliminating the need to reapply make up or lipstick after showering, swimming or working out. PLEASE NOTE: that every client's skin will respond differently. Both in the length of time it takes to heal, and in the number of sessions it takes for your desired results and color retention. This information acts as a guideline only and we cannot guarantee results on anyone. Your results and longevity of your tattoo depends greatly on your aftercare during the healing process and beyond. ​ How to get ready for the procedure? - Do not have any lip fillers less than 4 weeks prior to the appointment - Do not tan two weeks prior or have sunburned face - Exfoliate and moisturise your lips regularly prior to your appointment. If lips are cracked or chapped we won't be able to proceed with the treatment and you will forfeit your deposit. - Do not take Fish Oil or Vitamin E two weeks prior (natural blood thinners) - If you suffer from cold sores you must take antiviral medication 3 days prior to your appointment and for a further 3 days after. In order to avoid excessive bleeding and poor color deposit: - Do not drink alcohol 24 - 48 hours before your tattoo - Do not take an aspirin or ibuprofen for pain relief (this thins the blood)
